Pascale Honore says she was mesmerized by the ocean since the first time she saw it.

Watching her sons grow up surfing in Australia, she longed to get in the waves with them. But as a paraplegic, she wasn't sure that was possible.

It took the imagination of her son's friends, Tyron Swan, and some duct tape to make Honore's dream of surfing come true.

Swan, a big wave surfer and professional diver, uses duct tape to strap Honore to his back and her legs to his legs. A car accident left her a paraplegic 18 years ago.

"It wasn't until Ty's suggestion that I could feel what it's like to be a surfer, Honore wrote on her website ducttapesurfing.com.

The two hope to raise enough money to travel and surf and "inspire people to have a dream and make it happen!" Honore wrote.
