One of county music's biggest acts is promoting their East Tennessee hometown in a new video.
The Band Perry, made up of siblings Kimberly, Reid and Neil Perry, recorded a video for the Greene County Partnership's Tourism Department. It's posted on the department's and the band's Facebook page.
The trio talks about everything Greeneville and Greene County has to offer, including the beautiful scenery, outdoors activities, and antique stores.
"Who could better sell Greene County to visitors and new residents than The Band Perry?" said Tourism Director Tammy Kinser. "Just like the recognition the community received during promotions of the downtown concert in March, a personal, heart-felt testament to their feelings about our community will make a lasting impression and go a long way in letting the world know more about Greeneville and Greene County!"
According to Partnership president and CEO Tom Ferguson, "With a tremendous amount of work and dedication, Kimberly, Reid and Neil have risen to new heights of fame, and because of their loyalty to this community, local residents feel like they are a part of their success. With today's technology, their comments about this community have circled the globe, and placed Greeneville/Greene County on the global map!"
