Country trio The Band Perry announced plans on Friday for its first headlining international tour.

The We Are Pioneers World Tour is in support of the band's new album "Pioneer." The tour will kick off Nov. 8 in Gothenburg, Sweden and spend the next five weeks in Europe before The Perry's head home for Christmas. The band will kick off 2014 by spending a month touring Canada and then will bring the tour home to the United States in February and March.

"We live to play," Kimberly Perry says in a statement. "In our minds everything we do -- writing, recording, interviews, appearances -- is the means to the live end."

The band, which spent last year on tour with Brad Paisley and much of 2013 on the road with Rascal Flatts, will have a completely fresh stage show including new sound, new lights and a new set.

Currently, the tour is not scheduled to come through Nashville, but additional dates will be added in the future. However, the group will be in Corbin Kent. at the Corbin Arena - about three-and-a-half hours from Nashville -- on Feb. 22.

The sibling trio rose to fame with the 2010 release of its Grammy-nominated song "If I Die Young" and is currently riding the success of back-to-back No. 1 songs "Better Dig Two" and "Done" from their album "Pioneer."
