2 Pillsbury crescent dough sheets
1 cup preserves or marmalade of your choice
Preheat oven to 375 °
Place one dough sheet on parchment paper on a cookie sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter. Spread Filling evenly to within an inch of the edges. Top with second dough sheet. Brush lightly with melted butter.
Sprinkle evenly with granulated sugar. Bake until golden. (12-15 minutes) top with icing if desired.
1 cup powdered sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 tablespoon melted butter
Half and half as needed
Whisk together sugar, vanilla and butter. Add milk as needed for desired consistency. Drizzle over tart.
