In the Kitchen: Smoky Mountain Biscuit Benedict

Chef Roman Campbell at Applewood Farmhouse Restaurant shows us how to fix up something truly delicious!

2 each Biscuits

3 oz Ham, thinly sliced

2 each Eggs (fried)

1 ½ cup White Gravy

Split Biscuits in half and place 4 halves on plate. Place hot ham on biscuits, add 2 fried Eggs on top of ham. Cover all with White Gravy and enjoy!

White Gravy

2 TBS Butter

2 TBS Flour

1 ½ cup Milk (as needed)

1 each Chicken Bouillon cube (1TBS chicken

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Black Pepper

Melt butter in small sauce pot and then add flour. Cook on medium heat while stirring for 2 minutes. Slowly add milk while stirring until milk is gone or until desired thickness. Add seasoning and bouillon cube and simmer for 10 minutes. Taste for seasoning and adjust as needed.
