I joined the team in June 2018 as a digital content producer at WBIR in Knoxville, Tennessee. I help write web stories, manage our social media accounts and create other types of content—I especially love working with Instagram.

Originally from Chicago, I graduated from the University of Missouri in May 2018 with a Bachelor of Journalism in Emerging Media and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Chinese Studies. I can speak and understand basic Mandarin as well as Spanish, and am working on adding in Italian as well.

Before moving to Knoxville, I worked as a social media and creative content specialist for the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy, as a community outreach specialist for the Columbia Missourian, and as a reporter and social media producer for various professional newsrooms affiliated with University of Missouri. I also interned as a multimedia reporter in front of the Supreme Court of the United States and have created international arts and culture content. I am a member of the Friars Chapter of Mortar Board, the Griffiths Leadership Society for Women, and was a Kinder Scholar and Fellow.

I am a big fan of the arts (I was a dancer for ten years) and love seeing new shows, delving into new exhibits or tasting a new dish. I’m also an avid traveler, and believe in the power of exploring your own backyard, as well as the other side of the globe.
