KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Hey everyone! My name’s Madison Hock and I cover all things sports for WBIR. I started in March of 2020. I was born and raised in Knoxville and I’m so excited to be working for the station I grew up watching, and telling stories in the city I love.
My love of sports started at an early age when my dad brought me to Tennessee football games before I could even walk. My passion for football grew into my love for all sports, and eventually, basketball stole my heart. After graduating from Farragut High School, I went on to play Division I basketball at Belmont University in Nashville.
After college, I worked in sports-talk radio in Nashville covering the Tennessee Titans as a digital correspondent for 104-5 The Zone. I also worked as a basketball analyst for Tennessee Lady Vols games for SECN+.
In my spare time, I love working out, spending time at the lake, cooking and preparing holistic meals, and hanging out with my family here in Knoxville.
I’m thrilled to be back in Knoxville and reconnecting with the sports culture I’ve grown up in.... and yes, my blood is orange.
