KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Ryan Connors joined the WBIR 10News team in April 2023.
While he now calls the Marble City home, Ryan has lived in half a dozen states. The constant moving taught him that “the people make the place," and he is looking forward to getting to know the people of East Tennessee.
Ryan grew up in Hazleton, Penn. and stayed close to home to attend college at Penn State to play soccer for the Nittany Lions.
He then transferred to the University of Oregon where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a double minor in political science and history.
Ultimately, Ryan’s goal is to make a difference.
On his days off you’ll likely find him doing something outdoors, but during the week he will be searching for the stories that matter in our community.
