From a Magic: the Gathering tournament to a 5K race, there's a lot going on in Knoxville!

The Knoxville RV Show is coming to the Sevierville Convention Center Friday through Sunday. Check out all the latest campers and accessories to beef up your next road trip.

The Knoxville Museum of Art’s Alive After Five series will be swinging this Friday with The Streamliners Swing Orchestra. Doors open at 6 p.m. General Admission tickets cost $15.

Theatre Knoxville Downtown presents ‘Death of a Salesman.’ The play follows the story of a failing salesman who can’t understand how he didn’t win success and happiness. It runs Jan. 10 through 16.

The Cabin Fever Car and Motorcycle Show is this weekend at the Knoxville Expo Center. Check out some of the best street rods, antique cars, motorcycles and more. Adult tickets cost $10.

The Knoxville Ice Bears take on the Huntsville Havoc on Friday at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum. Tickets start at $11. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020

Take a tour of Oak Ridge led by Park Rangers who share the history of the Secret City. The Secrecy, Security and Spies program begins at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Turnpike Gatehouse. It’s free to attend.

You’ve never seen ‘Singin’ in the Rain’ like this. The Knoxville Symphony Orchestra will be playing the soundtrack with the movie on the big screen at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. The performance begins at 8 p.m. on Saturday. Tickets start at $38.

Birds and bagels go together like peanut butter and jelly at this Ijams Nature Center event. Learn about the world of ducks and even try to identify some on a 30-minute bird walk. There will be local coffee and bagels to snack on. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday and costs $12.

The ‘I just want to be a unicorn’ half marathon and 5K is Saturday morning at Volunteer Landing.  Registration costs start at $20. The race begins at 9 a.m.

There’s a ‘Magic: The Gathering’ card tournament at the Knoxville Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday. This is one of the oldest competitive trading card games. It costs $60 to register.

The Bird & The Book in Maryville is hosting Drag Queen Bingo.  Monica DeChanel and Lana Mars will lead participants through 10 hilarious rounds of BINGO. A $10 donation to Appalachian OUTreach is the cost of admission.  The fun starts Saturday at 8 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020

The Lady Vols basketball team faces Georgia on Sunday at Thompson-Boling Arena. The game starts at 1 p.m.

The Knoxville Museum of Art is hosting its Second Sunday Art Activity Day from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Each child will go home with a craft, and there will be free docent tours available at 2 p.m.

Cool Sports is hosting a free adaptive skating class on Sunday to help everyone have the opportunity to learn how to skate. It doesn’t cost anything to participate, but pre-registration is required because there are only a limited number of spaces.

The Knoxville Track Club's Wanderers' Trail Race is Sunday in Maryville. Participants in the 5K will run through the woods, crossing hills, rocks, roots and streams to get to the finish line. The race begins at 2 p.m.
