The Sevier County Fair is in town August 28 - September 3.
Admission is $6 for adults and free for children 10 and under. You can purchase unlimited ride wristbands for $20.
On Tuesday, opening night, every 18th person to walk through the ticket booth within the first hour will receive a free unlimited ride wristband.
This year's theme is "Capture Your Moment." The fair's schedule is filled with fun events for the whole family including free laser tag games, a kid's "CORN"er Tent, and live entertainment throughout the week.
If you've got a competitive streak, you might want to try your hand at the ice cream or wing eating contest on Thursday. There are also contests for spitting watermelon seeds and for wearing the most creative cosplay costumes.
The fair is located at the Sevier County Fairgrounds at 754 Old Knoxville Highway in Sevierville.
