Get ready, pop culture fanatics! Fanboy Expo will return to the Knoxville Convention Center for the second time in 2016.

After selling 15,000 tickets to their Knoxville event in June, Fanboy Expo will be back Oct. 28-30 with a new roster of celebrity guests whose cultural roles range from The Voice finalists to iconic Star Wars characters.

A few notable celebrities include Beverly Hills 90210’s Ian Ziering, Black Veil Brides front man Andy Biersack (Andy Black) and the "new" Chewbacca, Joonas Suatamo.

The horror genre will be well represented for Halloween. Derek Mears, who played Jason Voorhees in the 2009 "Friday the 13th" film will make an appearance along with Tyler Mane, known for his roles in the "Halloween" movies. Chris Sarandon, the voice of Jack Skellington from "Nightmare Before Christmas" will also be present. A full list of celebrity guests can be found here.

Exhibition booths with comic books, movie props, and other fandom paraphernalia will be open 4-9 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A cosplay contest judged by celebrity judges will begin at 4:50 p.m. on Saturday.

General admission tickets are available online and for purchase at the door at $17-$30 for single-day pass; weekend pass, $50; general VIP weekend pass, $99; and super VIP weekend pass, $399.
