KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A gala set for Aug. 10 will benefit Girl Talk Inc.
Denetria Moore is the founder and Executive Director of Girl Talk Inc.
She started the mentoring non-profit after she became pregnant at age 19. Mentors and supporters inspired her to graduate from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Sociology.
The upcoming Fashion Show Gala is a fundraiser for the organization. It's at the Knoxville Convention Center on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 5:30 pm.
The event begins with a cocktail hour and then transitions into dinner, live entertainment, and an upscale fashion show.
