Need to Know: Greek Fest celebrating 40 years in 2019!

The three-day festival is full of delicious food, music, dancing, and more!

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — One of Knoxville's favorite events is coming up soon!

Greek Fest, in its 40th year, is set for Sept. 27-29, 2019, at St. George Greek Orthodox Church on Kingston Pike.

The three-day festival is full of delicious food, music, dancing, and more!

You can sample a full menu of Greek cuisine from the food vendors, everything from spanakopita to baklava! This year, most booths will accept credit card payments.

You will also have the opportunity to tour the church's beautiful and newly renovated sanctuary, which was just reopened in June after a devastating fire.

Daily admission to Greek Fest is $2 for adults or $3 for a weekend pass. Children under 12 get in free.

The festival opens at 11 a.m. each day. It closes at 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 6 p.m. on Sunday.

You cannot park at the church for Greek Fest. There are several nearby parking lots where you can leave your car and ride a free shuttle to the church:

If you need access to a handicap accessible shuttle, please park at Second Presbyterian Church.

Certified service animals are permitted at Greek Fest, but pets are not allowed.
