KNOXVILLE, Tenn — Knoxville Moms Blog got out to McFee Park in Farragut for the 6th annual Beat the Heat event.
Families came out today to the park to meet local businesses and get sweet treats for kids.
Kids were able to get out and enjoy the splash pad.
The founder said they enjoy helping moms in the community find new deals.
"We're just a good resource for coupons, kids eat free, new deals, stuff like that," said Natalie Rickerson, founder of Knoxville Moms Blog.
Rickerson said they also host community events in other areas of Knox County.
