The sound of '80s rock will sweep into Thompson-Boling Arena this summer.
Journey and Def Leppard will play in Knoxville on June 6, part of a 58-show tour that pairs two of that era's enduring names. The summer-long run is being officially announced this morning after several days of online buzz.
Tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 3.
Also big news for Def Leppard fans -- the band says they released their entire music catalog available for streaming on Spotify, iTunes/Apple Music and Amazon and other streaming services on Friday.
The bands will swap out opening and closing slots throughout the tour. Journey and Def Leppard last teamed up in 2006, another lengthy North American run.
