Mayor Glenn Jacobs to make appearance as Kane at Comic Con in Albuquerque

The event website states he will appear Saturday only.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs is set to make an appearance in New Mexico as his alter ego this weekend.

Jacobs, also known as World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Kane, is on the events schedule for Albuquerque ComicCon.

The event website states he will appear Saturday only.

Since becoming mayor, Jacobs has made a handful of appearances as Kane including at WWE events in Melbourne, Australia and Saudi Arabia.

Last week, the World Wrestling Entertainment presented a $100,000 donation to the Knoxville Public Safety Foundation at Jacobs' request in appreciation for making a series of appearances for WWE last fall.
