Muddy obstacle course builds team work and helps Veterans

Teams compete in 10 hour or 5 hour relay races with a lot of mud and obstacles.

The Hardship Hill Team Obstacle Course Race benefits Operation Enduring Warrior (OEW). The veteran-founded non-profit's mission is to honor, empower, and motivate our nation's wounded veterans through a physical, mental and emotional rehabilitation.

The event is Saturday, May 19 from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm at 1226 South Kentucky Street in Kingston, Tennessee. .

The relay team race with obstacles will present participants with more than 20 obstacles over the distance of about a 2 mile course.

Teams will consist of two to eight team members where only two members of the team will race at any given time. Teams can be made up of all men, all women, or co-ed.

Depending on team strategy, teams can tag in their next two runners each lap or complete multiple laps before tagging in their team members.

There are three races available:

5 Hour Team Race

10 Hour Team Race

1 Mile Kids Fun Run

Teams that complete the most laps in their given race will be awarded top honors.
