Ingredients:
1 1//4 cups butter
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 granny smith apples - peeled, cored, & diced
1 cup butterscotch chips - melted
Directions:
Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat until light brown. Pour into a bowl, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Beat together the cooled browned butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs, & vanilla until smooth and creamy. Add the salt, baking powder, & cinnamon and mix well. Gradually add the flour and mix until combined. Fold in the apples. Spread batter into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool and drizzle with melted butterscotch chips.
