1/2 lb of fresh ramps washed; divide and rough chop leaves and separate bulbs
Bacon
Cook bacon until crisp. Set aside. Cook bulbs in bacon fat and a little water till translucent. Add leaves and saute. Add chopped bacon, salt and pepper to taste.
Serve with beans and cornbread or whatever you desire.
