Vols Help Vols with their businesses | UT starts online service to enhance alumni connections

Through the Volunteer Business Directory, UT alumni can connect with other members of the community and enhance their businesses.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — When a student graduates from the University of Tennessee, they become a member of an international community of alumni who work to support each other. Now, Vols can help Vols with their businesses, too.

Officials with UT announced the launch of the Volunteer Business Directory, which helps alumni find businesses run by other alumni. Companies can span across different industries including retail, food and printing. They also have the chance to become a part of the UT Knoxville Corporate Partner Program.

Alumni can submit their business online. It will be reviewed by university officials and then go live on a list of other businesses within 48 hours of submitting the form. It will be publically listed on the university's website for alumni.

Some of the corporate partners listed on the directory include the Pilot Company, First Horizon Band and Graphic Creations.
