KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The owner of Knoxville restaurant, Asia Cafe, is donating N-95 face masks to people who need them.

Phillip Lim said he bought 10,000 masks before the pandemic to send to family overseas. Now, they are donating them to people here.

Lim told 10News he ended up not sending them to his family overseas after seeing how badly people in the United States need them. He said nurses from Kentucky and South Carolina have driven here to pick some up.

As of yesterday afternoon, Lim said he had about 1,000 masks left.
