A Unicoi, Tenn., man is accused of placing his penis in the mouth of an Alzheimer's patient at a Jefferson City assisted living center.

Records identify the man as Tracy Robin Bocock, 50.  Charged with rape and sexual battery, he's identified as working for Ballad Health of Kingsport.

On Feb. 15, the rape warrant states, he was observed by Chandler House assisted living facility staff members assaulting the 84-year-old woman. The resident has Alzheimer's, dementia and sundowner syndrome, according to a warrant.

On Jan. 13, the battery warrant states,  a witness saw him "rubbing/groping" the 84-year-old's breast in the TV room.

The person "is unable to function mentally or physically on her own," the warrant states. "This act was committed by Bocock with the knowledge and intent to take advantage of a vulnerable elderly person who is mentally defective, mentally incapacitated or physically helpless."

Jefferson City Detective Richard Mitchem said he used information from Chandler House staff and a witness. Bocock admitted to the act, according to the warrant.

Bocock was arraigned Feb. 18.

A spokesperson for the Chandler House released the following statement:

"At Chandler House, the safety and security of our residents is our highest priority. Upon becoming aware of this incident, staff members immediately alerted the appropriate law enforcement authorities, who apprehended the individual. We are cooperating fully with law enforcement and, due to the ongoing nature of their investigation, we cannot comment further at this time."
