KNOXVILLE, Tennessee — One man was taken to UT Medical Center for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries on Tuesday night after he was shot, the Knoxville Police Department said in a news release early Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 700 block of Highland Drive in the North Knoxville area after receiving a report of a shooting around 7:30 p.m. When they got there, they found the victim inside a home with one gunshot wound, the release said.
KPD is investigating the incident at this time, according to the release.
