THP: Semi-truck driver facing charges for driving under the influence

The Tennessee Highway Patrol says the driver was arrested in Campbell County after crashing into a guard rail

CAMPBELL COUNTY, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol says a tractor-trailer driver has been arrested for driving under the influence in Campbell County. 

Armajit Singh, 30, of Pennsylvania was driving a tractor-trailer on I-75 when he veered off the road and hit a guard rail, according to THP. 

THP said Singh was determined to be impaired at the scene and was arrested on charges of Disregard for Traffic Control Device, Implied Consent Law, Lane Usage, Reckless Endangerment and DUI.
