Two men are behind bars after bullets flew through homes in North Knox County.

According to the Knox County Sheriff's Office, officers arrested 18-year-old Rickey Lee Hensley from Pedigo Road and 24-year-old Joshua Tucker from Oak Ridge for firing into an occupied home and two other unoccupied houses Sunday morning.

KCSO said the investigation began after officers responded to Jann Drive when a family reported that someone had shot into their house and shattered the glass on a picture hanging ten feet away from a child. When officers responded, they received a call of gunshots hitting another house on Jann Drive.

Officers determined the shots were coming from 8437 Pedigo Road where they found two suspects along with weapons.

Officers said both suspects admitted to firing a 9mm pistol and a 9mm rifle from their backyard of the home. Officers said there was no backstop and the shots had been fired into a tree line and other homes.

Tucker told officers they had shot approximately 100 rounds between the two of them.

Tucker was released on bond and Hensley remains in the Knox County Jail. Both were charged with two counts of reckless endangerment.
