KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — One person died in a shooting in South Knoxville on Friday, according to Knoxville police.
KPD said they found the body inside an apartment at 123 Ingersoll Avenue just off of Martin Mill Pike around 3 p.m. The victim has been identified as Frank Ennis, 45, according to an incident report.
Officers are still looking for a suspect.
"Right now with it being so early, we're just blanketing the area trying to find any witnesses we might have, anybody who can give us any kind of lead on who might have committed this," KPD communications manager Scott Erland said Friday afternoon.
