Senior Stroll: Fulton HS grads pay a visit to Christenberry Elementary to inspire students

A few days before they walk across the stage at graduation, seniors at Fulton High School made another important walk to inspire others.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Fulton High School graduating seniors took some time before their big day on Saturday to inspire other students at Christenberry Elementary.

The young students cheered as graduating seniors walked through the hall handing our high fives.

The soon-to-be graduates said they hope their visit inspires students to do well in school.

"It's a great experience for us to show how well these kids can do in life. Graduating high school is a big deal," senior Corban Carver said.

This was the third year Fulton students held what they call the 'Senior Stroll.' It's becoming a tradition students look forward to each spring.

Fulton HS seniors will walk across the stage at Thompson-Boling Arena Saturday starting at 2 p.m. You can find a full commencement schedule and watch Knox County high school seniors walk across the stage on a livestream on the Knox Grads website.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - One hundred and twenty-four students from Austin-East and Fulton High Schools were recognized and celebrated for their achievements in meeting all requirements for graduation and earning Project GRAD scholarships. This is the 15th class to earn the GRAD scholarships since the program began in 2001.
