On the first day of spring, East Tennesseans prepared for snow.
“God has a sense of humor, he really does,” Teresa Green said.
Teresa Green is a manager at the Hampton Inn in Caryville. and she said anytime the weather gets bad, her hotel sees a spike in visitors.
“We are expecting a lot of black ice and traffic,” Green said.

While Teresa Green prepared her Campbell County hotel for an influx of visitors from Interstate-75, Ron Dillbeck prepared his employees to keep the roads safe.
“We made a joke today that it's the first day of spring and we may be getting the snow tonight, but we're ready and prepared for it,” Dillbeck, the Campbell County Road Superintendent, said.
