KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Cinebarre Theatre in West Knoxville was evacuated Sunday night.
A call came in around 8:27 p.m. reporting the smell of gas near the theater at West Town Mall, according to the Knoxville Fire Department.
The cause of the smell might have been a pressure regulator, according to KFD.
KFD said mall security evacuated the area as a precaution.
Officials said they have already turned over the area to the owners.
