Knox County seniors will graduate this week, and if you are attending one of the ceremonies at Thompson-Boling Arena on the UT campus, please be aware of the clear bag policy.

UT will enforce its clear bag policy, usually used at campus sporting events, for the high school commencement services.

Attendees must bring their items in a clear plastic bag no larger than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches or a one-gallon clear, resealable plastic storage bag.

Small clutch purses or wallets are permitted but cannot exceed 4.5 x 6.5".

In August 2016, the University of Tennessee rolled out the new "clear bag" policy for all its athletic venues including TBA. The move limits what fans can bring into games.

Some of the items banned by the new policy includes backpacks, fanny packs, purses, reusable grocery totes, camera cases, diaper bags, cinch bags, and colored plastic storage bags.
