A kitten in a tight spot got some help from volunteer firefighters in Middle Tennessee on Thursday.
The cat was found trapped in a 4-inch diameter underground pipe in the Gallatin Wastewater Treatment Plant, according to a Facebook post by the Galllatin Volunteer Fire Department.
To save the kitten in distress, firefighters and personnel from the wastewater treatment plant used what they called some "different rescue tactics."
They attached a leaf blower to the opposite end of the pipe and used air pressure to push the cat out into safety.
And the bold rescue paid off! The Gallatin Volunteer Fire Department said it was able to successfully get the kitten out of the pipe and return it to its mother.
Some cats really do have nine lives!
