KCSO: Two teens face several charges after robbing juveniles

Deputies say four juveniles were camping at a home on Corum Road in East Knox County when two suspects walked up and demanded the children hand over their wallets and other personal items.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says two teens are facing several charges after robbing juveniles camping in a backyard around 9 p.m. Friday.

Deputies say four juveniles were camping at a home on Corum Road in East Knox County when two suspects walked up and demanded the children hand over their wallets and other personal items.

Officials identified those two suspects as 19-year-old Tray Parton and 19-year-old David Sanders. Parton hit two of the juveniles with a pistol during the robbery, according to deputies.

Deputies say they found and arrested Sanders in the same area where the robbery happened. He is being held on four counts of aggravated robbery, according to authorities.

KCSO patrol officers say they found Parton in a pickup truck outside his home on South Wooddale Road around 11 p.m. Friday. Officers say they chased Parton and took him into custody. He is charged with four counts of aggravated robbery, four counts of aggravated assault, evading arrest, unlawful drug paraphernalia, vehicle registration violations, aggravated assault on a public official and driving without insurance.
