KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knox County Schools' board has approved its 2022 fiscal year budgets.
It includes a general-purpose budget of $542 million, a $58 million capital budget, and a $27 million school nutrition budget.
All KCS certified and classified employees will get a 4% raise.
The school district is also adding 49 positions supporting students' and staff's mental health.
