KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — UPDATE 3 PM MONDAY: The vehicle that struck four people last month in a hit-and-run in the Old City has been found, according to the Knoxville Police Department.

No arrest has been made, however. Nor has anyone been charged, according to KPD spokesman Scott Erland.

"The investigation is proceeding and we are continuing to interview all potential suspects, witnesses and victims," Erland told 10News.

KPD is not saying how it found the vehicle, which earlier was described as an Infiniti or Mazda.

The department's investigative file has been forwarded to the Knox County District Attorney General's Office for review, Erland said, and "We cannot comment any further on the case."

A driver struck the four early Feb. 23. Two people suffered serious injuries and two suffered minor injuries.

The driver then fled in what appeared to be a black Infiniti or Mazda. Witnesses described him as being in his 20s and wearing a bright orange shirt.
