KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Fire Department and Knoxville Police Department are responding to a house fire on Barton Street in North Knoxville.
KPD communications said a neighbor called in the fire around 6:45 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they found flames shooting from a bedroom window near the back of the home.
The resident was not home at the time, according to KFD.
No injuries are reported and the cause is being investigated.
