A new restaurant that promises a '5 o'clock somewhere feeling' is set to open next week in downtown Gatlinburg.
LandShark Bar & Grill will officially welcome the public on Monday, May 22.
The restaurant and bar is located at traffic light 3 on the parkway, its adjacent to the currently under construction Margaritaville Resort in the Smokies.
The resort, scheduled to open by mid-2018, will include a seven-story, 174-room hotel, along with indoor and outdoor swimming pools.
But before the resort opens, visitors can soak in the laid-back tropical atmosphere at the LandShark restaurant.
“We look forward to being a part of the community here in Gatlinburg,” said Neil Strickland, managing partner for LandShark Bar & Grill. “Our goal is to serve up delicious food and drinks, and create a fun atmosphere for everyone from families on vacation to locals here in town. Fins Up!”
