LOUDON COUNTY, Tenn. - A man died after his tanker truck crashed off I-40 in Loudon County.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, 32-year-old Daniel Hinson from Murfreesboro was driving an empty tanker truck on eastbound I-40 near Lenoir City when his truck crashed at mile marker 365 around 2:00 a.m.
According to troopers, the truck went off the right side of the road and hit a guard rail before it crashed into a number of trees.
THP's crash report said his family has been notified.
THP has notified a medical examiner and is investigating the crash.
