National Puppy Day 2018 is Friday! Here's a list of shelters in East TN

There are several ways to celebrate the day (other than drooling over puppy pics on your computer while pretending to work) which include encouraging someone to adopt a new furry family member.

Sooo.. it's Friday AND it's National Puppy Day! Could life get any better?

There are several ways to celebrate the day (other than drooling over puppy pics on your computer while pretending to work) which include encouraging someone to adopt a new furry family member.

Puppy Day founder and pet lifestyle expert Colleen Paige asks if you can't adopt today, to donate at least $5 to your local shelter.

"National Puppy Day encourages you to always consider adoption first and don't forget the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the overpopulation of unwanted pets and unnecessary suffering," Paige wrote on her website.
