Police responded to a report that a person involved in an argument had a gun in the Sevierville Waffle House on Saturday evening, according to City of Sevierville officials.
Sevierville Public Information Officer Bob Stahlke said multiple police cars responded to the situation.
When they arrived, they found that there was no gun.
Police did make one arrest. Stahlke said one person allegedly threw a small knife at the other person's car as he was leaving.
No one was injured.
