Horse Haven of Tennessee's biggest fundraiser, Dancing for the Horses, is back this year, featuring WBIR's newest reporter as a celebrity dancer.

Shannon Smith is learning how to cha-cha and raising money for horses in need as part of the event.

Horse Haven of Tennessee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and re-homing of neglected or abused horses through shelter, adoption, education, and assistance.

Shannon is dancing for a horse named Pi, who came to Horse Haven starving and neglected.

Her fundraising goal for Pi is $3,500.
