A 16-year-old Maryville girl hasn't been seen since Nov. 30, according to the Blount County Sheriff's Office.

Kaylee A. Monks, described as 5 feet, 4 inches tall and weighing 120 pounds, may be traveling with friends to see family out of state. Sheriff’s investigators do not have any evidence that she is in danger at this time, however, her family has not heard from her since last week.

According to the sheriff's office, she has a tattoo of an elephant on her ankle and her bellybutton and nose are pierced.

"She is a beloved daughter whose friends and family members are pleading with the public to help bring her home," a release from the Center for Search and Investigation said.

If anyone has any information that will assist investigators to find Kaylee, or if anyone has seen or talked to her since Nov. 30, please call the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations office at (865) 273-5001 during normal business hours.
