KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — One juvenile was taken to the hospital after being grazed by a bullet, the Knoxville Police Department said.
A group of people, which included the victim and were likely juveniles, were shooting guns around 8 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Cornelia Cartwright Avenue, according to KPD.
The victim sustained a minor gunshot wound to his back, KPD said.
Two cars and a house were struck by gunfire and multiple shell casings were found in the street, according to KPD.
The victim was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center and refused to provide information that "could prove helpful for responding officers," KPD said.
No charges have been filed and KPD said it's continuing to investigate the shooting.
