A forever force: Star Wars interview takes a turn and it's not to the dark side

Two Star Wars fans' lives were changed forever.

The force was strong at the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" at the Regal Riviera theater Thursday night - so strong, it changed the lives of two fans forever.

With the latest movie in the epic saga being released, WBIR photographer Hunter Joyce headed down to Gay Street to get the reaction of Star Wars fans as they came out of the movie theater.

He spoke to Tim Lowery and Shae Peilstocker about the movie - what they thought, and if it lived up to their expectations.

At the end of the interview, he asked a question we often ask people - is there anything else they want to say?

Little did he know, Lowery had a lot on his mind.

Lowery handed back the microphone, turned to Peilstocker and got down on one knee.

Tim Lowery proposes to Shae Peilstocker after watching the premiere of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" at the Regal Riviera on Gay Street on Dec. 14, 2017.

She said yes once she got over the shock, and the people outside the theater gave a big round of applause.

Congratulations, Tim and Shae. May the force be with you!
