KNOX COUNTY — UPDATE 11:15 AM FRIDAY: The man whose body was pulled Thursday night from Fort Loudoun Lake has been identified as Johnathan Beeler of Louisville.
Beeler, 40, was found using a remote vehicle around 6:48 p.m. Authorities said the man was not wearing a personal flotation device and early indications are that he drowned.
An autopsy will be conducted.
PREVIOUS STORY: Rescue divers have recovered the body of a 40-year-old man from Louisville Thursday from Fort Loudoun Lake.
According to the Matt Cameron with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, a fisherman found an unoccupied jon boat near Carl Cowan Park off Northshore Drive this afternoon.
The boat had food, fishing gear and keys still in the ignition. The TWRA said the Knox County Sheriff's Office, Blount County Sheriff's Office, and TWRA were called out to investigate.

Authorities have not identified the man. An autopsy has been requested and the incident remains under investigation.
