U.S. Postal Service unveils Alzheimer's fundraising stamp

The U.S. Postal Service has revealed its Alzheimer's Semipostal stamp.

The fundraising stamp was revealed Thursday and will be available everywhere on Nov. 30 for purchase. You can pre-order the stamp in early November here.

The artwork on the stamp is the same version as the 2008 version except for that the older woman is to the right,

It will be sold for 60 cents, which will include the first-class mail rate and a percentage going to fund the Alzheimer's research. By law, it will go to the National Institutes of Health. which is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

To get the word out use the hashtag #AlzheimersStamp on social media.

The stamp will be dedicated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 30 at the John Hopkins Asthma & Allergy Center Atrium in Baltimore, MD. This event is free and open to the public. You must RSVP to attend.

The stamps will be available to buy at any post office, at a toll-free phone number 1-800 STAMP-24, or online.
