There's snow on the ground, but it's not too cold for water skiing at the annual Eskimo Escapades that is gearing up for its 24th year.
The event raises money for The Dream Connection, Patricia Neal IRC and Adventure Amputee Camp by letting participants hop into the frigid waters of the Tennessee River for skiing, wakeboarding and tubing.
President Matthew Porterfield says if you get too cold, you can hop into a hot tub provided by Aurora Pools and Spas to thaw out.
They're hoping to raise $25,000 this year.
The Eskimo Escapades event is Saturday, Jan. 27.
