Here's what to know and how to vote in the August elections across East Tennessee

There are elections in Knox, Anderson, Blount counties and beyond!

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — On May 3, voters officially decided who they wanted to run as their party's candidate for local government seats. Now, on August 4, voters will cast their ballots for the candidates they want to lead their local governments in several county general elections across East Tennessee.

Partisan voters will also decide who they want to run in the upcoming state and federal elections during the Democratic and Republican primaries. The election to finally decide who will be in those seats will be in November.
