KUSA — Three men are now in custody a week after a woman’s burned body was found near a small brush fire near Golden.
The victim, identified by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office as Cymone Duran, had apparently been shot multiple times before she was set on fire, deputies said. Her body was discovered at around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 5 near the intersection of Nile Street and West 7th Avenue near Golden.
Three men now face charges in her death, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said.
- Abel Gallegos: The 35-year-old faces charges for first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, second-degree arson and tampering with evidence
- Alonso Quintana: The 27-year-old faces charges for first-degree murder, first-degree kidnapping, aggravated intimidation of a witness and possession of a weapon by a previous offender
- Rene Rosales: The 35-year-old faces charges for accessory to first-degree murder, tampering with a deceased human body, second-degree arson, and tampering with evidence.

In a news release, the Sheriff’s Office did not say where the three suspects were arrested or if they knew Duran.
All three men are being held without bond in the Jefferson County Jail.
