Four of the 32 University of Tennessee student-athletes who received perfect 4.00 GPAs in the fall semester were football players, a UT official confirmed to GoVols247.

A trio of seniors — wide receiver Josh Smith, punter Trevor Daniel and walk-on kicker Holden Foster — joined junior holder Parker Henry as the Tennessee football team's 4.00 GPA earners.

Henry, a graduate of Beech High School in Hendersonville, Tenn., was named an Academic All-American by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) earlier this month. The Vols' first-team holder has a 4.00 overall GPA while earning a double major in finance and political science.
