Lady Vols up to No. 9 in latest AP basketball poll

The Tennessee Lady Vols are moving up in the AP women's basketball poll.

The Lady Vols jumped into the Top 10 of the AP women's basketball poll this week after a win over Oklahoma State on Sunday.

The 6-0 Lady Vols are now ranked No. 9, up two spots from their No. 11 ranking last week.

This comes a day after the Lady Vols handed Oklahoma State its first loss on Sunday in the SEC/Big 12 Challenge.

Tennessee's sophomore point guard Evina Westbrook showed up in a big way during that game, scoring a career high 29 points for the Lady Vols.

UConn remains at the top, followed by Notre Dame, Oregon, and Baylor.

Tennessee returns to Thompson-Boling Arena to host Stetson at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
